Our Beliefs

About the Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

2 Timothy 3:15-17

About God

There is one eternal God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man.

Deuteronomy 6:4, Ephesians 4:4-6, Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 3:16

About Sin and Salvation

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23-25, 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. We need to be baptized in water in the name of Jesus and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

I Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 2:4, 37-39, Romans 6:3-4

About Christian Living

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives - which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church, and serve the community in which we live.

Mark 12:29-31

We believe we should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly.

II Corinthians 7:1, Hebrews 12:14

We believe God changes people’s lives through the power of His Spirit. This includes physical and emotional healing, deliverance from addiction and restoration of relationships.

I Corinthians 12:8-10

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly for worship, fellowship and serving others.

About the Future
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 20:11, 15

Our Pastor

Pastor Samuel Medina, originally from Pomona, California, moved with his family to Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the age of three, where he has since built a life of faith and dedication. In 2005, he answered the call to ministry and completed his seminary studies, becoming a licensed minister through the United Pentecostal Church International. That same year, he also trained in automotive trades and has since worked as a skilled auto technician. Pastor Medina met his wife, Krystal, at a church camp in 2010, and they married six months later. Together, they are blessed with two wonderful daughters who bring joy to their lives. With a heart for family and a steadfast commitment to serving others, Pastor Medina is grateful to share his life’s work—dedicated to his family, his community, and his faith.
